The redevelopment of Cityplaza is now well underway. The first part of this redevelopment - the refurbished 1st floor - has been successfully completed and was officially reopened on Thursday 23 September.  Alderman Bert Lubbinge together with Project Director Menno Overtoom of Corio Vastgoed Ontwikkeling performed the official opening ceremony, which included a spectacular acrobatic show performed in the roof space high above onlookers in the unique Cityplaza centre.

The 1st floor of Cityplaza has been fully renovated. Intertoys, Big Bazar, Wibra, Xenos and La Fuente have already opened their new branches to the shopping public. Brasserie Plaza (formerly Smikkelhof) will be opening its doors next week.

Cityplaza 25 years
Saturday 25 September marks the official opening of Cityplaza precisely 25 years ago. This important anniversary will not go unnoticed. During the coming six weeks, all visitors to Cityplaza will be entertained with exciting prize draws, lively music, children’s activities and special offers with free cream cakes and great giveaways.
